As if 2020 hadn’t been relentless enough, on September 18th, we lost Ruth Bader Ginsburg at 87-years-old. Her legacy was secure long before her popularity as a pop culture icon began to increase rapidly after 2013, but in 2018 her star finally crossed over to the big screen with a pair of films. On the Basis of Sex was a biopic starring Felicity Jones and Army Hammer while the documentary RBG went on to earn a pair of Oscar nominations.
Some people probably won’t agree with this, but the best way to honor her legacy is to participate in civic responsibility and vote.
