As usual, when we do shows together, things tend not to go in a straight line but we still cover a lot of ground and have a great time in the process. We touched on the California gubernatorial recall election on the horizon, the turmoil in Afghanistan, the current state of the restaurant business in Los Angeles, and some thoughts on the NFL preseason.
